ABOUT ME

I believe in laughter... I believe in warm summer nights... I believe in the miracle of life... I believe in running barefoot chasing lightnin bugs... I believe in toothless giggles, and messy hair... I believe childhood is magical... I believe life is beautiful... I believe you can never have too many pictures... I believe in capturing life... I believe pictures should tell stories... -YOUR STORY-

when the sea kisses your toes

Another vacation….. another year older…. more memories created… that I never want to forget. How it rained so many days that the yard flooded…. that when the sun finally came out he was welcomed with little feet running to the ocean. How Kailey grew so much in the last year we spent two days finding a new bathing suit that fit right. I cant believe shes almost 13. Slow down. How Addi would wait at the sea’s edge until the water kissed her feet.. and then take off running back to me. How Trey patiently built the best castles for his little sister…… and then got upset with her when she stomped them. How Addi twirled her hair with her finger….. I think her hair was meant for the oceans breeze. How she made sure her little beach chair was always perfectly sitting beside mine….. she really is my shadow. How Trey got matching sunglasses like his dads & proudly wore them everywhere. How Addi cried over a mermaid she saw in a beach shop… so much that two days later I had to go buy it. She has red hair. How I saw more rainbows in this week than any other week of my life. How Addi called the seaweed “mermaid hair” & sea shells were “magic shells”. How the kids loved to fish with their grandpa. How Addi saw a little pink beach house on one of our walks… and I had to keep taking her back to see it again. I’m certain she’ll own a little pink beach house one day. One day. How on the last evening there Addi wore a dress & kept holding it up because she didnt want it to get wet… it still did. I told her “thats what happens when the sea kisses your toes”. How the man sitting in the gazebo told me “you take those pictures mama… you’re making memories”. How I could stay just like this.

Everyday.

Always.
