I was asked by a wonderful photographer, Kara May from Kara May Photography to join in on a project. Every two weeks we are given a theme and must capture an image/images & blog about that theme. This weeks theme is “A thousand words”.
This image is about how summer is almost over. How my oldest two start school next week. How I’ll miss the freedom of no bedtime & sleeping in. How I’ll miss all three of my babies being home with me all day. How the nights are getting cooler & its starting to get darker a little earlier each night. Pool goodies are now on clearance and back to school stuff overflows in stores. I’ll miss slipping on my flip flops and sitting on the front porch. …. I’ll miss grass stained legs & dirty toddler feet. The grass will soon change colors….. vibrant green will be no more. Things are about to change again… I’ve never been a big fan of change. Why cant we stay just like this….? Why cant summer stay? I’ll miss summer… the freedom it gives….. how childhood seems to thrive during these three months.
